Frequently Asked Questions

Everything Sri Lankan applicants ask before starting a foreign job application — answered directly.

Is Miracle Manpower Agency a licensed recruitment agency in Sri Lanka?

Yes. Miracle Manpower Agency (PVT) Ltd holds Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment licence LL 2686 and has operated from Kadawatha since 2012. All placements are processed through documented, contract-based channels, and applicants can verify agency licences with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) before signing anything.

Which countries does Miracle Manpower recruit for?

Miracle Manpower currently recruits for six destinations: Israel, Romania, Oman, Singapore, Japan and Cyprus. Romania offers EU work permits, Japan runs through the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) route, Singapore uses the Work Permit scheme, and Israel, Oman and Cyprus cover agriculture, construction, caregiving and hospitality roles.

What types of overseas jobs are available through Miracle Manpower?

Eight job categories are placed regularly: construction, driving, earth-moving equipment operation, fabrication and welding, maintenance, nanny and caregiver work, retail, and skilled technician roles. Both skilled and semi-skilled applicants are accepted, with trade-test support arranged where the employer requires certification.

How do I apply for a foreign job through Miracle Manpower?

Submit the enquiry form on the Vacancy page with your name, contact number and preferred job category, or call +94 11 2 929 434. A recruitment officer confirms which vacancies match your experience, lists the documents needed, and books you for an interview or trade test. Walk-in applicants are welcome at the Kadawatha head office.

What documents do I need to apply for a job abroad from Sri Lanka?

You need a valid passport with at least 18 months remaining, your National Identity Card, education or trade certificates, previous employment references, a police clearance report, and recent passport-size photographs. Medical clearance and SLBFE registration are completed after an employer confirms your selection.

How long does overseas job processing take?

Most placements complete in six to twelve weeks from selection to departure. The timeline depends on the destination country: Gulf placements such as Oman are typically fastest, while Romania, Japan and Cyprus take longer because EU and SSW visa approvals involve embassy processing and, for Japan, language or skills testing.

Where is Miracle Manpower Agency located?

The head office is at 433/2, Circular Road, Ihalakarahagamuna, Kadawatha, Sri Lanka. Office hours are Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. You can reach the office on +94 11 2 929 434, on mobile at +94 77 7 149 198, or by email at info@miraclemanpower.com.

Do I need previous overseas experience to get a foreign job?

No. Many vacancies — including general construction labour, retail, hospitality and caregiving roles — accept first-time overseas workers. Experience and trade certification raise your salary band and widen the countries open to you, but a valid passport and a passed medical are the only universal requirements.
